Was there for a wedding. Beautiful outdoor location for the ceremony, luckily missed most of the rain but umbrellas were provided. Indoor area for the reception was a great space, the wine barrels at the back of the room make for a great aesthetic.

The staff are being exploited and breaking health regulations by working in the kitchen and then put in the rooms to clean. The staff felt for us but the owner could not care less..

Rooms clean but in need of an update. Gardens beautiful. We did not have a good experience in the restaurant. Had to send a dish back. Very disappointing. Our stay overall was pleasant.

Absolutely disgusting- this hotel ruined our weekend! The photos advertised on the net are of a different hotel because they are not the same. The place was full of dead flies and millipedes. Cobwebs lined the windows and the dust was a hazard to our health. The breakfast left a bad taste in our mouth all day!

The fourth one was salad. No, sorry it was tiny salad. The size was super small.

The worst place we ever visited. Won't recommend to anyone. By the way, their motel room was dirty. We found cockroach on our bed and dust everywhere.

As for the "rest" ? . . . forget it! Place was noisy all night, spiders were huge, room was worn and unkempt when compared with the attractive "polished room" website pictures. The extra money paid for a view of the famous rose gardens didn't look over the main rose gardens . . . ?! Indifferent admin staff need updating to give this place any hope of a customer focused future. We have experienced much better locally. Relatively poor value for the money.

The first two courses(crispy pork belly and oyster) were just eatable. The oyster was really fishy and definitely not fresh. It was soft like jam.

The gardens are nice but that’s it. I will be asking for a refund due to the false advertising.

The fifth one was steak. The sauce was disgusting. It was like the chef killed a vinegar vendor and took his place so that the chef can had unlimited vinegar to put in the sauce. I never had a steak which was sour like this one. If you just ate the meat without the "vinegar", congratulations, you just had a boiled BBQ steak without any seasonings. It was literally boiled, our steak was dropping some kind of crystal clear liquid when we cut it.

The worst meal we ever ate. We had so called trust the Chef($65 pp). It was a six courses meal picked by the chef. The food was like over night food from weekend event.

The third one was venison pasta, and it was totally blank and the decoration was awful. It was like someone pooped in the plate. The pasta tasted like some awful flour made cream melt in your mouth. The only flavour it had was fishy meat with over cooked mushrooms.

The last one was dessert which was the only one can be considered as OK.

The owner hesitated when I asked if the rooms were serviced daily, and muttered something about if the room was purchased on a package then no. We did not have a package deal and yet still no service.

What's worse was that we've been told that we could pick any two glasses of wine in their sell by glasses wine list for free. But we've been charged for the wine for full price and their expansion was that the waiter made a mistake that the wine we chose was not in the free list. At last they agreed to make one of two glasses free. And we still had to pay for the other one.
